Regan Deering Triumphs In GOP Primary!
Offers Hopeful Vision for Illinois’ Future
Decatur, IL – In a decisive victory, Regan Deering triumphed in the Republican primary election today, securing her spot as the GOP nominee for Illinois’ 88th District State Representative.
"I am humbled by the trust placed in me, and I pledge to offer integrity, courage, and an unwavering commitment to our shared values," Deering stated. "This is just the beginning. I stepped into public service because I fear for my three kids’ future in Illinois. Creating the bright future we deserve won’t happen by winning Republican primaries alone."
During her campaign, Regan drew on her experiences as a small business owner and a political outsider, offering to bring a fresh perspective to Springfield. She has been a vocal critic of ineffective policies and has taken bold stances, earning her a reputation as a solution-oriented conservative fighter.
"I look forward to taking my solution-oriented conservative message to General Election voters in the 88th district and throughout the region," explained Deering. "High taxes, brutal inflation, failing schools, and government mismanagement impact all families, regardless of party. Together, we will make Illinois a beacon of hope, freedom, and opportunity. It's time for it to be morning again in Illinois."
The 88th House District is considered a safe Republican district; There is currently no Democrat challenger in November.
Hi, I am Regan Deering, the conservative Republican running for State Representative of the 88th District.
Like you, I am fed up with the corrupt political class that governs Illinois. And, like you, I will not sit by and let them destroy our great state.
I am running because I'm afraid for my children's future in Pritzker's Illinois. Families here pay some of the highest taxes in the nation. They struggle to find quality education for their children and live in communities plagued by violence.
Extreme Democrats are forcing their radical values into our homes and schools, relentlessly attacking our cherished freedoms, and destroying our jobs and economy.
Many families see this and, understandably, run away. They flee Illinois for states where they can pursue the American dream, live their values, and create a better life for their kids.
But I love it here. For nearly two decades, my husband and I have built our lives in Decatur, working, raising our three amazing children, and contributing to our community. We aren't leaving, and we shouldn't have to.
